Pattaya Where To Go Guide

By Mike James

I have been living in Thailand for about two years now and wanted to do an article on Pattaya. I have spent a good amount of time in the city and surrounding area. Pattaya has gotten a reputation for a city of fun and well let's just say adult entertainment. Yes, this is very true and it can be very wild, there is another side of Pattaya.

Some of the most fun that I have had in Thailand has been at some of Pattaya's family attractions. There is not any shortage of fun things worth doing in Pattaya that's totally certain. When I originally came to Thailand and begin to see all the families and young couples walking the street. I asked the question why are they in Pattaya?

Walkng on Beach Street will begin to make a response to that query. As you walk down the line you look out and see many boats, parasailing, swimming, nice dinners, people are taking cruises. So I took a ship tour and it included ; fishing, eating, parasailing, Island jumps, snorkeling and much more. I was basically impressed and met lots of very nice people One Chinese guy invited me to come stay at his home in China.Wow, I've never been to China, maybe I may take up on his offer sometime.

Then I started to explore the city more closely. I found a place called the Million Year Stone Park and Crocodile Farm. This place is a real trip if you have not seen it. There are over 30,000 crocodiles there alone and you can feed them chicken on a fishing pole. There is a crocodile show that is amazing and at the end I had my picture taken sitting on 10 foot crocodile, what can I say, when in Rome. There are many animals there; tigers, elephants, bears, birds, and much more. There are tigers and yep, you can get your picture taken petting a live Tiger too. This place is well worth the money to see.

There's a place to bungee twine jump which is something I always wished to do. Therefore I paid my charge and took my first jump. Obviously it is a rush like no other I have experienced. They were extremely nice and the jump went well till the rope snapped, only joking. Everything was fine and I had a very good time.

Love to golfing and Pattaya is a golfer's paradise. There are many intensely nice coursed in the general area and they reasonably priced. One thing about golfing is you meet folks if you show up alone. They supply the caddy, which is normally a nice young girl. You can take a cart or walk. I'd suggest taking the golf cart, because some of the courses are spread over a massive area.Hey, if you like exercise, have at it.

This really is just the short list of things to do in Pattaya. Like I said the night life is like nowhere else in the world. Just use some common sense and respect the King, because he has earned it.
