Having spent many a family summer holiday in the south of England along the Bournemouth area of the coast line. I would highly recommend this area to families, couples and young people. There is plenty to do for everyone whether you are a sports fantastic or just want some peace and quiet along the Dorset coastline.
When you arrive in Bournemouth you will be delighted at how much it resembles an English seaside resort. Long golden sandy beaches which stretch for miles along a promenade which goes as far as the eyes can see. The town itself can offer so much to the tourist including sports , recreation and lots of good quality shops. Rainy days don't matter here either as you can visit some of the museums or Oceanarium or head over to the water park for the many slides which are available to you.
Heading along the coast visitors will find themselves in Poole with harbour and quay and boat trips to all the surrounding islands. This is an ideal place for sea lovers as boats are always coming and going even at night time. There is a summer fest on at the quay each week with a different event each night from vintage cars on display to fireworks going off last thing at night from the quay. Not forgetting the local park or attractions close by.
A ferry ride away from Poole will find you in the seaside town of Swanage. The ferry is the shortest way to reach here from Poole alternatively there is a coastal route you can drive if you wish to take in all the views along this Jurassic coast line. A small seaside town with plenty of amusements to keep everyone happy and when you wish a rest take a seat in any of the lovely coffee shops and enjoy a cream tea.
There are lots of places of interest to visit along this rugged coast line which will have something to please for everyone.
