Catherine Street Fire Station
A consequential building in Jacksonville, the Catherine Street Fire Station was at first found at 14 Catherine Street but was moved to Urban Park. This building now houses a fire museum now called the "Jacksonville Fire Museum". This building is amongst the oldest important buildings in Jacksonville, all the way back to the late 1700s. Summer tours are available through all summer months, so be sure not to miss out!
Edwin M. Stanton School
The school is located at 521 Ashley Street in the center of downtown Jacksonville. The school is claimed to be a nationwide landmark and was added to the U.S. Nationwide Register of Historic Places in 1983. The modern inheritor of the high school is the Stanton School Preparatory School.
"Tours of Liberty Trail"
This trail has been teaching travelers and the community on civil rights history that lies in the town and to generate funds for developing activities. The tutorial ninety minute tour will include sites where some of the widely known civil rights activities had taken place. The admission price for adults is $15 and children can tour the facility for $7.
Jack Nicklaus Exhibition
This exhibition is another historical place of interest. The World Golfing Hall-Of-Fame will expose some new artifacts. Items on view include the set of Mac Gregor irons that were used at the 1986 Pros. Lots of the first artifacts will be on view for the subsequent a quarter. The artifacts are at present on loan from the Jack Nicklaus Museum at the "Ohio State University".

Prairie and Land Heritage Museum is found at the corner of Michigan and Lincoln Avenue's. The museum is of consequential interest down to the incontrovertible fact that it shows off some of the smaller household and farming items from past times and present.
